WASHINGTON - U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Analysis Marcus Jadotte is leading 11 U.S. companies on a safety and security trade mission to Morocco, Algeria, and Egypt, March 4-12. The mission, with stops in Rabat and Casablanca, Morocco; Algiers, Algeria; and Cairo, Egypt, will be Jadotte's first trade mission since becoming Assistant Secretary.

 

"The safety and security product and services sectors are in high demand in this region," said Assistant Secretary Jadotte. "I am pleased to lead this impressive group of U.S. companies that offer world-class products and services to strengthen security and provide enhanced safety to citizens in North Africa. This trade mission will enhance our commercial relationships with these important trading partners, encourage economic growth, and advance President Obama's commitment to increasing U.S. trade with Africa."
