THE WINNERS!
Bowen Donaldson Team Gets 1st Place Thursday in Carnival of Knowledge

It was a close match, but the Bowen Donaldson Home for Funerals team captured first place Thursday night, Oct. 23, in the Literacy Volunteers of Tifton-Tift County's 15th Annual Carnival of Knowledge Trivia Contest at Moultrie Tech.

The team of Steve Carter, Karen Hendrix and Bryce Johnson, pictured above, answered the most questions correctly in the final runoff among the Rotary Club of Tifton team, which came in second place, and the Branch's Veterinary team, which placed third.

The event is a fundraiser for the Literacy Volunteers organization and pitted three-person teams against one other to answer sometimes esoteric questions about a variety of subjects.
