It's Monday March 05, and we are nearing the end of our 'un-winter' 2011-2012. But it's not over just yet.

We are currently under a 'snow warning'. However, that should be short lived, with temps forecast to rise to the low teens by the end of this week.

If you believe the Weather Network, we will enjoy 'above average' temps right through their next '14 day trend'.

In any case, last Friday March 02 gave us a mostly sunny day.

We took advantage, and went out on our annual early-March Bow River boat launch tour.

190 kms or so later, here is our photo report.

You can click over to my blog for some bonus photos for each boat launch.

Plus, there you can find a link that will take you to our photos from the same tour in 2011 and 2010.

You'll find lots of snow in 2011 (how could we forget!), and not so much in 2010.
