CYCLE Kids is hosting their 4th Annual Tour de France event on Sunday, July 24th at the Ride Studio Cafe in Lexington Center. There will be a group bike ride to the event lead by personal trainer, tri-athlete, and friend of CYCLE Kids, Sunny Schettler.

If you are from the Cambridge area and would like to bike to the event, the group will leave from Peets Coffee (located in Harvard Square) at 6:15 Sunday evening. The ride will take people on the Minuteman Bike Path right to the Ride Studio Café. Once at the Ride Studio Café, a crepes and champagne dinner will be served, along with the viewing of the final stage of the Tour de France.

If you are not planning to ride to the event, please join us at the Ride Studio Café at 7pm for crepes, champagne, and to watch the Tour riders enter Paris!

Your event registration fee will go towards programs for Medford kids. With your help, CYCLE Kids hopes to roll out programs in Medford's four public elementary schools by October 1 of this year.

The lessons from the CYCLE Kids program reach beyond the classroom. They instill in kids a love for physical activity, a desire to learn more about biking and nutrition, and the opportunity to form lasting relationships with role models in their community.

All kids deserve the chance to call themselves CYCLE Kids. Now you have the opportunity to start a child from Medford down the right path! 

Event Details

The group bike ride departs from Peets Coffee in Harvard Square at 6:15pm Sunday July 24th. The destination of the ride is The Ride Studio Café in Lexington Center.

Dinner, drinks, and the viewing of the Tour de France begin at 7pm at the Ride Studio Cafe.

Cost Details

$40 event ticket includes   

— The opportunity to participate in a "Friends of CYCLE Kids" bike ride from Cambridge to Lexington, MA 

— A crepe dinner and champagne (beer and wine will also be provided)

— One raffle ticket for the chance to win a polar kit, Kriptonite lock, or Thule bike rack.

— Watching the final stage of the Tour de France in a festive atmosphere with community members and friends of CYCLE Kids from all over the Greater Boston Area
