" To select the wrong person for a job is a common mistake; not to remove them is a fatal weakness."

-------------------------

After being away for several days participating in one of the men's retreats I periodically engage in, I settled into my routine last week in a way that seemed effortless. It is always amazing to me to see how I return after a few days of R&R relaxed and refreshed.

I acted effortlessly through a schedule that had me working on many new jobs, helping to confront a problem with the stone that was delivered for the restoration of a fireplace in my new house (what was delivered was nothing more than rubble and the vendor would not allow us to return it), a prominent role in a celebration, plus publishing the first work of a new author plus all the details of modern life.

It felt good to become re-balanced again.
