WELCOME TO ASPIRE NEWS! Vol 2 Edition 1 January/February 2012
|
Greetings!
Happy New Year to everyone! My hope is that you enjoyed the holiday season and that you are looking forward to grand possibilities in 2012. I have learned through the years, that when you expect it, anything is possible. A Vision Board may be the first step in attaining your expectations. It helped me and it may just help you. Check out Vision Board Vault and who knows, it might be the start of something totally new, exciting, and beneficial.
In this issue of the newsletter I would like you to meet a dear friend of mine Bren Miller who, due to her experience of dealing with cancer, is the founder of "The Pink Posse and The Pink Posse Philes who are a group of loving friends roped together with the common bond of giving encouragement and support to others with breast cancer. " (Lexington Woman Magazine p22-26) Bren and her group of Pink Posses have raised an amazing amount of money for breast cancer research. The Pink Posse has the following web page http://www.pinkpossephiles.com/ and also a Facebook page.
Reflecting on my friend Bren and others I have known both family and friends, I am amazed at the number of women and men who have battled cancer over the years. I think the good news is that many, like Bren, are winning the battle.
So, where do we go from here?
First let me congratulate the Holiday Basket winner: Christopher Kladis.
