Kitchen demolition began this week. The contractor took down a wall between the kitchen and dining room and opened up the space. He then had the idea for using a pantry closet and creating a walkway. Great idea!
Ordered appliances and the kitchen cabinets. Ouch! That was expensive!
Spent time at the house raking, pulling down wallpaper and cleaning stuff out of a shed in the back the previous owner forgot to clean out. My back hurts from the bending and lifting!

A friend of mine sent an email recently and said he wanted to speak with me. He has been looking for a job for a few weeks. I called him and asked what was wrong.

Listen More and Talk Less: 7 Steps to Avoiding Obvious Mistakes
| | There was an interesting survey I read recently that, I think, came from Korn-Ferry, the international search firm. The survey said that the primary reason why people are rejected on interviews is NOT for lack of skills competency, but that almost 40% are rejected because they talk too much. Approximately 20% are rejected because they behave arrogantly on the interview.

I have been working on my new websites for consultants and temporary personnel. I am excited about the progress I am making and, as I said last week, I am afew weeks away from launching.
