Described by Sir Chris Bonington as one of the “greatest mountaineers”, Mick Fowler and his climbing partner Paul Ramsden won the Piolet D’Or (golden ice axe) eight years ago for an audacious first ascent of a little-known mountain in China called Siguniang by its north face.

Mick has also climbed all the classic north walls, including the Eiger North Face, Walker Spur, Dru Couloir, Matterhorn North Face, Freney Pillar, Cima Oveste, Piz Badile and Croz Spur. A former vice president of the Alpine Club and a director of the Mount Everest Foundation, Mick will thrill his audiences with his mountaineering tales.
