Popular Fort Huachuca-based band returning to Yuma for May 25 performance
Yuma, Arizona - Entertainment and Patriotism set to take center stage at the Historic Yuma Theatre in downtown Yuma.
The 36th Army Band will perform at 7:00 p.m. on May 25 at the Historic Yuma Theatre, 254 S. Main St. The performance on May 25 is free of charge; however, those who wish to attend must have tickets for reserved seats. These tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Yuma Art Center starting 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 11th, also located at 254 S. Main St. According to Assistant Director of Yuma Parks and Recreation, Roberta Ukura, "This is one of our most rousing and patriotic shows, so tickets go fast!"
You can also pick up your tickets during normal operating hours. The Yuma Art Center is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There is a limit of 4 tickets per person. The Historic Yuma Theatre has a capacity of 640 seats. No additional performances have been scheduled.
The 36th Army band performs throughout the southwest to promote community relations and spread patriotism.
