Good Afternoon:

Youth, between the ages of 13 - 24, account for 13% of all reported HIV infections; however, African American adolescents are disproportionately affected, accounting for 55% of those cases, according to the Center for Disease Control.

While 33% of high school students are engaging in sexual intercourse, 87.9% of students have never been educated about AIDS/HIV.

Are your students equipped with the knowledge that could save their lives?

Meet David D. Robertson.

David D. Robertson at Spelman College World Aids Day Event
A prevention specialist for Comer Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago and an empowerment speaker, he has traveled extensively--from Spelman to the YWCA and more--sharing his story of defeat and, ultimately, triumph, after being diagnosed with HIV in 2007.

The face of H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People Evolve), David was handpicked to serve as one of just six individuals to be profiled by amfAR, an internationally-renowned AIDS research organization, for their online video campaign. The late Elizabeth Taylor was a founding chairman of amfAR.

I would love to discuss the possibility of bringing David to your organization or next event. If you're interested in saving your students' lives, please give me a call or send an email to m.franklin@publicitystuntinc.com.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Miko Franklin
