A Note to our Readers:

This week marked the departure of our founding editor Isaac Dovere, who is moving on to new endeavors.

After six years of dedicated and award winning work with our company, Isaac now joins a long line of distinguished journalists who have started their careers at Manhattan Media newspapers: James Rutenberg, Andrew Jacobs and James McKinley of The New York Times and Robert Kolker of New York magazine, among many others. And we wish him the best and thank him for his years of work.
Isaac helped carve an important space in local political coverage at a time when so many other outlets are being forced to pull back attention and resources. And while Isaac will be missed, he leaves behind a talented team. With new initiatives already underway, we look forward to continuing to improve on our focused coverage of City Hall and the Capitol.

To Isaac we offer a hearty congratulations and wish him well on what will no doubt be a long and enterprising career.
