 February has been an amazing month that has brought with it many fun moments, happiness and blessings!
This month my family and I welcomed the arrival of our second born, Cameron to the world. Cameron was born at home after a very fast labour, weighing 8lbs, 2oz. We couldn't be happier, and are so in love!
Throughout the month of March we have a number of fun events planned that are sure to be crowd pleasers. If you haven't had a chance to check out our upcoming calendar, please head over and do so. We started planning out a lot of great events heading well into the the beginning of Summer, so be sure to get on there and sign-up!
We hope to see you all out and about around the neighbourhood soon!

| What's Cooking?
Tuna Casserole with Spinach
Tuna casserole is a classic family favourite! This recipe makes enough for 2 casseroles, eat one and freeze the other for a busy night.
Ingredients:
2 pkg. Fresh spinach
1/3 cup butter
3 onions chopped
� cup all purpose flour
6 cups milk
2 tsp each dried basil, salt
1 tsp. Pepper
4 cups fusilli or penne pasta
3 cans tuna, drained and broken in chunks
2 cups shredded old cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. Lemon juice
Topping:
3 cups fresh whole wheat bread crumbs
1 cup shredded old cheddar cheese
1 tbsp butter, melted
1 tbsp. Dijion mustard

| Family Craft Corner (as featured on momstown arts & crafts)
 Twinkle Little Star Mobile
You and your child can create a Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star mobile with this fun craft activity from momstown.
You'll need:
scissors, glue, ribbon, star stencils (cookie cutters work well!), tin foil, a coat hanger, tissue paper, and stiff paper like cardstock or heavy construction paper.
Use the cookie cutters to trace stars on the construction paper. Your child can try doing the tracing as well - helps to practice pencil grip.

Tip Jar
- When it makes sense to double up on a task, do it!
- When you're making dinner and waiting for the pasta to cook, try to make your kids' lunches for the next day. After all, the food is out. And this way you'll only have one cleanup, as opposed to two!

WIGGLE & FIT
Come out join us and wiggle with your wee ones on March 30th when Mindful Balance puts on a special trial class for all momstown Whitby-Ajax members!
This class is a combination of mom & baby exercises with our wee wigglers 'angels' program. This class begins with cardio, strength & pilates exercises that are designed for new moms to do with their baby, followed by a music & movement program to enhance physical, social and intellectual development. This class is a great opportunity for mothers to mingle and to enhance the mother and baby bond in a fun and social environment.
