Everyone is thinking "SPRING" now that all the ice, snow and frigid weather are gone (at least for a while). We had a little taste of Spring this weekend and next week will be even warmer - just in time for the Collin County Home & Garden Show. TAGS and the Greyhounds will be on hand this Saturday, February 19th from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. and this Sunday, February 20th from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Allen Event Center, 200 East Stacy Road, Allen, Texas.
Please volunteer and help TAGS educate the public about retired racing Greyhounds and TAGS' quest to find lifetime homes for the foster Greyhounds. The vendor spaces are sold out, which means there will be lots of activity and fun with everyone getting their spring gardening ideas. Bring your friends, neighbors, potential adopters, potential fosters and gardening enthusiasts.
Shifts at the show will be as follows:
Saturday, February 19
12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
4:00 pm. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, February 20
12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m.
2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
If you can volunteer, please contact Suzanne Griggs at griggsgreys@tx.rr.com. Please let us know what shifts you can work and if you will bring a Greyhound or two. Additional information will be sent regarding passes. Parking is free.
Thanks so much for your support of TAGS. We hope to see you next weekend.
