green economyTo provide greater clarity around the green economy and related industries and jobs, Local Boards in three areas: Hamilton, Niagara, 
and Grand Erie have partnered to examine the impact of the green economy on their economic regions.  The goal of the report is to identify common industries enforcing green practices and increase our understanding of how the green economy affects occupations within key sectors.

 

When: Friday February 18, 2011

Time: 10:30 to 11:30 am

YEN Connect: Navigating Services for Youth


yen logoHTAB is an active member of the Youth Employment Network.  YEN Connect: Navigating Services for Youth takes place on March 23, 2011 from 1 pm. - 4 pm. at the Scottish Rite in Hamilton.  The event will bring together teachers and youth service providers for a networking afternoon.  A variety of displays, and information sessions on topics such as Youth and Ontario Works, Gang involved youth, and Mohawk's LINC Youth Video Project will be featured.  Stay tuned for more information about this free event!

Report to the Community Event - Feb. 17/11

HTAB invites you to attend our Report to the Community Event on February 17, 2011 from 2:30 pm. - 4:30 pm at Liuna Station.
