Court House was built in
1732 and served as the
meeting place for Delaware's

The Read House & Gardens
was built in
1801 by the son of George Read, a signer of both the Declaration of
Independence and the US Constitution. Twelve rooms, three in the
Colonial Revival style, and the formal gardens are open to the

ticket office of the Frenchtown Railroad. It served as a
major transportation
byway between the North and South. The park's surroundings include
a waterfront walkway and playground.
