Today almost 70 people travel to the
Endless Mountains for our Fall Retreat! Our goal
this weekend is to help our students develop closer relationships
with each other, our leaders and God! Please pray for us as we
go!
People are doing
last minute packing. Camp Orchard Hill is cleaning out their
cabins. The coach cus is being vacuumed out. The paint ball
supplies are being checked. Our team is doing the last minute
prep. Fall Retreat 2010 is here and ready to
roll!
I'm excited to be traveling with nearly 70 other people to the
Endless Mountains in Pennsylvania today for our Retreat.
It promises to be a great weekend. If your
student is registered you would have received a confirmation email
yesterday.
We are hosting a prayer meeting on Saturday and Sunday
morning at 7:30am at Camp and you are invited to join us.

We are designing this night to be a lot of fun for your students
and to be a great chance for them to invite their

We are wanting to give away a pile of candy to each student that
comes to the night. Can you help you us with our Candy Drive this
year? We would need the Candy to be brought with you to church on
Sunday October 31st (or to arrange another time for us to pick it
up.)

next Sunday we start some brand new series that we are excited
about!
Starting Sunday October 31st
for our Flood (High School) Life Groups. From mosque
controversies to threats of Koran burning, Islam often makes
headlines. Is it hype? Is there hope?
Join us for an eye opening series exploring Christianity &
Islam. We'll discuss the differences between the two faiths, and
answer the question: "Can we Coexist?"

Starting Sunday October 31st our Surge
(Middle School) ministry starts a new series called "Through the
Bible in 12 Weeks!" Reading the Bible is one thing .
. . understanding it another! Most middle schoolers still think
the Bible as a disjointed jumble of stories and history lessons -
this series is designed to give them perspective they need. It
will help ground them in their faith and confidence in God's
Word.

Although we've been working hard to make this Retreat a success for
our students . . . we are also focused on next weekend's Tsunami as
well. We will be turning up the volume on that as we head into
next week . . . but we would really love for you to encourage your
student to be inviting friends and family to that event.
It's a great chance for our students to reach out to their
friends!
Thanks again for all your support and encouragement! We're looking
