Dr. Bulger will explain her planned research, as part of a national study, using a well-studied medicine to treat bleeding in the brain for patients with traumatic brain injury. As a group we will explore considerations for emergency medical research in traumatic brain injury. Do we have concerns for this non-consent research in Seattle? Worried? Not Worried? Somewhere in between? How can we balance autonomy and social benefit through new treatments?

Each year mentors and judges volunteer to support science education for high school students, enriching the lives of students and the life science research

The Malaria Clinical Trials Center is looking for healthy volunteers to take part in malaria clinical research studies
Malaria is a deadly disease that affects about 200 million people every year. We are working towards preventing and limiting malaria disease and deaths.
You may be eligible to participate if you
- Are a healthy male or non-pregnant female between the ages of 18-50
- Have reliable access to the site and availability to participate for 4 to 12 months
- Have no history of being previously diagnosed with malaria.
Volunteers will be compensated for time and travel
