For the Greater Good, Please Share Your Brain with Us
Explore considerations in emergency medical research for traumatic brain injury patients; facilitated by Dr. Eileen Bulger, Chief of Trauma, Harborview Medical Center.
Please join NWABR for a Community Conversation
Tuesday, September 23rd at 5:45 PM
_________________________________________________________
Dr. Bulger will explain her planned research, as part of a national study, using a well-studied medicine to treat bleeding in the brain for patients with traumatic brain injury. As a group we will explore considerations for emergency medical research in traumatic brain injury. Do we have concerns for this non-consent research in Seattle? Worried? Not Worried? Somewhere in between? How can we balance autonomy and social benefit through new treatments?
