MHSCN Winter Networking Event - The place was the cozy Poet's Corner room of Kieran's Irish Pub in downtown Minneapolis, and the spotlight was on MHSCN's awards program. On Jan. 29, MHSCN and event sponsor Interval hosted MHSCN's first networking event of 2013. They welcomed 25 people to an evening of fun, connections, food, drinks and balloting to select a new name for MHSCN's annual awards. MHSCN members had been invited to vote for a new name for the Beacon Awards through an online survey. Networking event attendees' ballots were added to those totals, and the final choice was MHSCN Award of Excellence. Congratulations to Amy Pak, winner of the Apple TV door prize! This digital media receiver plays digital content from the iTunes Store, Netflix, Hulu Plus and more on an enhanced-definition or high-definition widescreen television.
