We are pleased to announce that CVJHP is coordinating an international delegation to rededicate the recently restored Jewish cemetery in Praia, Cape Verde. The Municipality of Praia renovated the burial site with financing from CVJHP. The ceremony is slated for
May 2, 2013. Many dignitaries from Morocco, Gibraltar, Portugal and the US will attend. Please contact us at:
info@capeverdejewishheritage.org, if you wish to join. There are direct flights from Boston to Praia on TACV. You will be responsible for defraying costs of travel and lodging, but we can assist with logistics. You must arrive in Praia by May 1.
