Intense red color with purple hues. Aromas of ripe red fruit with notes of dried fruits. Great structure, round and with a long finish in the mouth. We recommend popping the bottle thirty minutes before consumption and serving slightly below room temperature. Our favorite pairings are a flank steak or a lamb cassoulet, though it goes surprisingly well with tandoori chicken.

For all of you Malbec drinkers, here's one for you. Tannat, as a whole, is usually very tannic, but when blended it tends to soften the resulting wine. Tannat is a varietal which grows very well in Texas and has become very popular with some of the local wineries. When blended with Malbec, the wine develops a deep, dark, ruby color with very ripe fruit on the palate. It is wonderful with grilled steak.
