    Foundation Update

    Kudos to Edwards Ready Mix
    Brian Hahn, owner, and Jim Glazier, plant manager, of Edwards Ready Mix have announced that they are taking an active, visual approach to breast cancer awareness. In addition to painting one of their concrete mixer trucks pink they also included the Hammond-Henry logo and listed our cancer services on their truck. Edwards Ready Mix will annually award a $2,500 grant to HHH Foundation to be used in the areas of cancer awareness. Hammond-Henry is proud to be a beneficiary of this program. (full story) 

    Free2Play

     
    It was a fun morning for all on May 3 at the Free2Play family event led by HHH physical therapists Greg Janicki and Wyatt Brieser.
     
    The Free2Play program aims to empower every child to be an athlete, cultivating each child's personal capacity to contribute to the well-being of others. Free2Play is a world-class movement literacy program developed by the Gray Institute. 
     
    The Free2Play program was provided free of charge to area families as a result of funding from a Illinois Critical Access Hospital grant. Plans are under way for a fall Free2Play program. For more information on Free2Play programs, please call rehab services at 944-9150.
