Ranger4564 > They don't have to reveal the rate till they want to. Not everyone is watching how much Iraqi's are spending or getting ... just like you might not know what's happening in Brazil, Argentina, Vietnam, etc.

I think we will be in and out of banks before the CBI releases a rate change... or perhaps Sunday night, they will publish the new rate, in which case our only available rate for exchange could be the international rate.

Southern California Bank Story: I'm Inola7's brother and I have a bank story to share, I was inspired by another bank story that is posted on Dinar Detectives by Harleymom.

I decided to see what it would take to open a WF holding checking account to place our exchange into.

My wife and I spoke with the teller whom we've dealt with when we first bought our currency. We told her we wanted to open a holding account to place our exchange into. She said no problem, she would get someone to help.

While we waited I asked her if she had heard anything about the revalue of the VNN. She said no but she has had a couple of other customers inquire about that too. She asked when it was supposed to revalue and I told her maybe tonight or over the weekend.

So this week once again we witnessed more arguments in parliament over the candidates for minister of Defense and the Interior. They still do not have a permanent Defense and Interior ministers seated and another week has passed. They are now suggesting they will wait till after the holiday to address these candidates again.

Let us go back to the Erbil Agreement again because in my research I am learning that this is the KEY to the revaluation. This is also, as I have found, why they can not get the support needed to back the candidates for these remaining minister positions.

The Erbil agreement was the basis for the formation of the new Iraqi government's cabinet and political accord in 2010. This is now the same also in 2014. Only now they are calling it the "Unity (or Unification) Reforms".

Going Back in time to the 2010 Elections: (does this sound familiar?)
As the winners of the March 2010 parliamentary elections failed to form the new cabinet of the government after eight months, Kurdistan Region's President Massoud Barzani called on a national congress to resolve the disagreements and form the government.

Today's news letter, as in all my news letters, is a continuation of the ongoing saga of the IQD RV process. Please refer back to my last news letter of 9/29 (LINK) as this news letter is a continuation of this news.

Todays news is long and I am sorry but once again there are issues I need to clarify and so I hope you take the time to read it and appreciate it. I take much of my family time to help you in these matters. I ask nothing in return but to limit the despair and chaos caused by some in the intentional and unintentional misinformation in this dinar community.

10-3-14 Iko Ward: All times are EST. Thought it might be useful to recap what's been happening the past few days. Forex has demonstrated uncharacteristic activity concerning the Dinar (IQD), the Dong (VND) and Rupiah (IDR).

While the Dong likes to trade around 2AM (Tokyo market) it has always opened relatively flat at 7AM, an hour before the NY Market opens.

There has been evidence of "pinging" (testing) in the evening hours, when all is usually quiet and 0.0000.

The dinar has been seeing a CBI spread of 1164/1166 with occasional spreads of 1138 /1188 during the day but always settling down to match the CBI in the evening.
