MARK PROJECT helps Margaretville Market Makeover!

Thanks to the MARK PROJECT and the Town of Middletown Small Business Development Fund our Margaretville Market is getting a makeover! A generous grant award will allow us to update the McIntosh Country Market building to house our growing farm market.

New signage, paint and interior renovations will turn this flood ravaged building into a multi-business destination. Stay tuned for this season's opening and renovation sneak peeks!

Farm Fun

Help feather a nest!

Gather some strings and things for the birds to build their nests with this Spring.

Bundle in the bend of a tree or fill a mesh bag and hang some of the items below for the birds to carry off and feather their nests with.

The fun is to watch the supply dwindle!

Ideas...

  • Twigs or sticks
  • Dead leaves
  • Grass clippings or dead grass
  • Yarn, string or thread
  • Feathers
  • Pine needles
  • Straw or other plant stems
  • Shredded paper
  • Broom bristles or mop string
  • Cotton balls

Items should be from  3-8 inches in length.
