Rev. Paul's Inspirational Message

IT'S YOUR BLESSING

Good Day Family,

Your situation, your circumstances and your life are all meant by God to be a blessing to you. The Apostle Paul made this clear when he said, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28) That means that no matter what the situation may be, that God is working for our good...God is moving on our behalf...God is fixing it for us. We need only to trust God in the midst of the storm and do what God tells us to do. This is so often where the problem comes. We want God to do everything and we don't want to do anything to help ourselves or to fix our condition. Remember this...God is a God of covenant. Covenants are what I call if/then relationships...if you do this then God will to that. God made covenants throughout history and we have a covenant with God in Jesus Christ right now...if we believe in Jesus Christ, we will have eternal life.

God desires to make covenant with us every day. If we are good stewards, we will be blessed. If we are faithful, God we provide. If we sow to the Spirit, we will reap from the Spirit. God has blessings that God is sending our way each day but we often miss them because they require something of us.

Our children were small when we moved to Cleveland, and together we sought a new home. We had been looking at apartments all day one day. Without success and having found nothing, at the last building, I asked the agent if there was anything else that we could look at. She told us that there was a large apartment on the top floor of the building that had not been rented in many years because it was in such disrepair. I insisted that I wanted to see it, and when she opened the door I could see that it was a mammoth apartment but it was indeed a wreck and clearly uninhabitable. I turned to the woman and said, "We'll take it." My wife and the children all looked at me like I had lost my mind. But, I did not see the apartment as it was, I saw what it could be, and what it is was meant to be. The apartment turned out to be a place where our family enjoyed many happy years. It was our blessing!

Are you missing something that God has for you simply because it doesn't look like what you expect? Have you yet to receive the blessing that you desire because you will not do what is necessary and required of you? Don't hesitate any longer claim your blessing! Get in the process! It takes hard work, but remember, nothing that is worth having comes without hard work. Prepare yourself to move in a new direction. Make some changes in your life and get ready to receive what God has for you, because it's your blessing!

Be blessed,
Rev. Paul
