Q: "At what net worth should I consider getting a money manager?"

A: There is no magic number for when you need help. Similarly, you don't have to wait for your net worth to hit a certain mark to seek out the services of a pro.

"As soon as you have enough money that it's keeping you up at night wondering what to do, then that may be when you need to find some help," says Deena Katz, a certified financial adviser and associate professor of personal financial planning at Texas Tech University. "But that number will be different for everyone. Some people will feel it at $100,000, others at a million."

The Canadian dollar isn't looking great compared to its U.S. counterpart of late, but foreign governments are buying up more loonies to keep in their currency reserves - a vote of confidence in the loonie over the long run.

Alan Greenspan, former Chairman of the Fed, had an article entitled "Golden Rule - Why Beijing Is Buying" published in Foreign Policy, the journal of the influential Council on Foreign Relations in which he extols the virtues of gold as "universally acceptable."

Greenspan, former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board of the United States from 1987 to 2006, and a key architect in the global financial crisis, points out that if the world's largest gold consumer, China, used a portion of its massive $4 trillion foreign exchange reserves to buy enough gold bullion it could displace the U.S. as the world's largest holder of gold bullion.

Parliament encourages economic privatization

[BondLady] what we've said all along so did shabibi, build up the private sector that would support state projects

[tlm724] to submit draft laws developed and the trend towards privatization within the program government,

[BondLady] don't just rely on oil and they had in some ways like agriculture an water etc... infrastructure stuff electric, sewage

Fighting ISIS : Thriver reported activists say ISIS militants beheaded nince Kurdish fighters, including three women. They were captured in clashes near the Syria - Turkey border.

US military conducts 3 airstrikes Tuesday and Wednesday against ISIS targets in Syria. Airstrikes in NW Syria destroyed an ISIS vehicle, artillery piece and tank. Separately US and UK jets carried out five airstrikes Tuesday and Wednesday against ISIS in Iraq.

Three airstrikes NW of Mosul targeted two armed vehicles, an occupied building, and two fighting positions. Two other airstrikes destroyed several ISIS vehicles near the Haditha Dam and NW of Baghdad

Bellsouth: I FINALLY have a Bank Story! 10/01/2014

I have a VERY good one!

Went to Wells Fargo to open an account today. I went to one in the next little town. The bank Manager approached just to say "hello"...this is a small branch so, any business is good business.

He asked me if he could help me and I told him that I wanted to open an account...hopefully without a minimum deposit.

I said that it was a holding account for a large deposit that I am expecting to make very soon.

He asked me if I was aware of the foreign currencies that are soon to revalue.

Millionday: Rashid revealed deputies for the Parliament is moving to the legislation, a lot of laws that give the private sector a greater interest and expand its role in the national economy to contribute to the absorption of manpower and reduce unemployment, leading to the lifting of the burden on the public sector.

This comes in tune with what came in the program of the new government. was Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on the eighth of September last in front of parliament, about his government's program, which won the trust under which, and within which interest the private sector and to encourage the shift to him so as to provide better job opportunities and carrying out its responsibility towards society and the re-division of roles between the public and private sectors.
