The opening night, October 9 at 8:00 PM will benefit the Friends of the Bulverde/Spring Branch Library. Proceeds will be used for library programs and/or equipment.

Please join FOL for a quick witted, intelligent voyage into the not-so-tranquil seas of middle aged love and dating. A wine and cheese reception will follow the performance. Dinner is also available at a reasonable price beginning at 6:30 PM. Curtain is at 8:00 PM.

Rescuing Baby Rylan

The Baby Rylan Medical Fundraiser is underway to raise funds to support a Bulverde Spring Branch Fire Department family. 100% of proceeds go toward Rylan's medical care. Rylan is the son of Robert and Sandy Padilla. Robert is a Bulverde Spring Branch Fire Captain and his wife, Sandy, is an Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). In their respective professions they serve others and in this moment, they are focused on rescuing Rylan.

Rylan is their first child. He was born July 30 at 6lbs. 9oz. and since his birth he has been fighting life-threatening complications. Rylan has been faced with obstacles that affect his oxygen levels, heart rate and ability to swallow. The basic functions he needs to thrive are being challenged. Rylan has been in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio since his birth. Medical tests and evaluations are ongoing. All proceeds will be used to offset medical expenses.

You are invited to participate in the 14th Annual Craft Show at the Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center. The new addition is open and are able to accommodate an additional 12 - 14 vendors inside the building. Please share this information with anyone interested in participating.

Inside spaces are $40; outside spaces are $30. A $10 discount will be credited to vendors reserving two or more spaces. There is a $5 charge for electricity access.

Runners and walkers of all levels are invited to participate in the 4th Annual Holiday Hunger Run, a benefit run for Provisions Outreach, on Saturday, December 6th at Tejas Rodeo Company.

It's the fourth year for the run, which is becoming an annual chilly tradition for area runners and walkers who enjoy the challenge of a 5K or 10K run or walk, while helping a great cause at the same time.

Provisions has been providing food and other necessities to neighbors in need for more than 20 years in the Bulverde and Spring Branch area. The run is again being professionally managed by Athlete Guild and boasts chip timing; a fast, flat course. Registration for the run is now open on the Athlete Guild website at www.athleteguild.com, search "Holiday Hunger Run.

Wear your favorite Christmas costume!! Santa, elves...mistletoe. We will have a costume contest for the best adult and child!
