Annual Fundraiser- Casino Night 2014

Tea Palace, Renton
What:
Casino games, raffles, take homes and AWESOME food and music! So much fun in 4 hours should be outlawed!!
Tickets include buffet dinner, drink ticket and $10,000 of play money for the casino games.

On Sept 20, 2014, the Harmon Tap Room in Tacoma, WA hosted Tacoma Dreams: Benefit Concert. Students from The Art Institute of Seattle planned and executed a wonderful event raising over $2,000 for Birthday Dreams! Great job ladies! Thank you so much for your support!!

Goody bag party with Microsoft Employees!
 We spent the day with about 20 Microsoft employees making goody bags for upcoming parties. It was a great time! How could we not have a great time with all those smiling faces?? Thank you so much to the United Way for setting this up and Jaime Weber of Microsoft for coordinating everything! It was wonderful! |

~A word from our Executive Director~
|
October Already!! What a fast month September was.
I'm still getting in swing of things with Birthday Dreams and meeting our wonderful volunteers that come in regularly to write thanks you notes, do bookkeeping, answer my finance questions, and help orient me.
I'm so grateful that our co-founder, Chris Spahn, is around to help share her experience as the former Executive Director and provide input. As well as continuing to maintain our website as IT person and as board member.
I cannot say enough how we could not implement our mission at Birthday Dreams without Shannon and her team: Andrea, the office manager, and our two wonderful interns, Ashley and Jordan, who make birthdays magic happen every day.
I want to pass on the many thanks from our children who have received a birthday in a box. It's always fun to read about their parties and how much they loved their gifts. We are providing an important service to children who are homeless. We will continue our mission with contributions from corporate sponsors, individual donors and THE VOLUNTEERS who provide cakes, presents and supplies. We need this help daily, so please keep it coming. THANKS!!!
