Salt Lake Comic Con Superhero Party for Kids

Friday, August 22nd | 5-8 pm

Member tickets: $15/person

Non-Member tickets: $20/person

Discovery Gateway and Salt Lake Comic Con have joined forces to celebrate the power of imagination! Meet and greet special guests from H.E.R.O.I.C., Inc! Enjoy several activity stations where you can design your own superhero costume, learn the art of drawing comics, design a skyscraper and pose heroically in the superhero photo booth! Participate in cosplay with Discovery Girl who will provide expert superhero training and take everyone on a superhero adventure with Winston the Super Dog!

The Home Depot - Fix-It Fridays

FREE hands-on workshops; designed for children ages 5 - 12
August 22nd, 29th & September 5th
1-3 pm in the Bob the Builder™- Project: Build It exhibit

Learn to fix it just like Bob with guests from The Home Depot. Each child will get to keep their craft, receive a free certificate of achievement, a workshop apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.

Also make sure you see Bob the Builder™- Project: Build It exhibit before it closes September 7th!


New Studio 444 Exhibit: School of Thought by Kate Gourley Thomas Open now through September 4 Kate Gourley Thomas, local artist and much loved Discovery Gateway Early Childhood Educator, explores the struggles and delights of learning through the use of deconstructed books.	Discovery Fun Days Enjoy $6 admission after 5 pm on Friday and Saturday, and all day on Sunday with a coupon from DiscoveryGateway.org	Rumbi Island Grill Receive one free kid's meal per adult meal purchased at Rumbi Island Grill when you show your Discovery Gateway membership card or admission wristband from that day's museum visit. Offer valid anytime, even on Sundays when the museum is open 12 - 6 pm and Gateway parking is free!
