A panel of ISEA experts held a discussion last Tuesday regarding confined space safety. ISEA, an association for personal protective equipment and technologies, focused on ways to prevent accidents from occurring in confined spaces.

Wrapping Up NSC San Diego (Capital Safety, Ansell, Moldex-Metric, Magid Glove and Radians)

 

The expo-portion of the annual National Safety Congress & Expo came to close at mid-day this past Wednesday at the San Diego Convention Center, where more than nearly 1,000 companies were represented on the event floor, comprised of an estimated 14,000 safety, health, and environmental professionals.

Grainger and National Safety Council Launch New Safety Campaign

 

The National Safety Council and Grainger, the National Founding Sponsor, has launched theJourney to Safety Excellence Campaign at the NSC Congress & Expo. The Campaign aims to help all employers, regardless of company size or industry, make safety a priority in their organizations. 

To stand out from the crowd, PPE companies are doing a number of things. They are much more into services than ever. Take PPE usage training. Vendors have opened training facilities, particularly for fall protection, across the country. PPE companies are pumping up their brand image with more consumer-type advertising and social media campaigning - one reason for the record number of exhibitors at this year's NSC Congress and Expo.
