Post Doctoral Researcher-Electric System Modeler & Analyst

 

Desirable candidates are ones with strong quantitative backgrounds, including experience in data analysis using large datasets and energy model development. The research position entails research support across a range of electric sector models, including working with NREL in-house models as well as using commercial production cost models. We are considering recent PhD graduates in engineering, physical science, statistics, energy programs, mathematics, operations research and other quantitative sciences. The work involves state-of-the-art energy modeling, being more directly connected with utility planning, and potential far-reaching energy policy analysis.
