Living in Limbo: Lesbian Families in The Deep South

Presented as part of the One City One Pride LGBT Arts Festival, this was the first full exhibition about the LGBT community to be shown at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute in Alabama. Earth Day Film Screening of "A Delicate Balance"

World Book Night 2013

World Book NightApril 23, 6:30-8 p.m.
Location: It's a secret.
Volunteers will be handing out free books as part of West Hollywood's celebration of World Book Night.The purpose of this event is to reintroduce light readers to books in unexpected places, so we can't reveal the exact locations that volunteers will be handing out books ahead of time. In this new work, General Douglas Gallegher receives a letter from a mysterious woman named Rowena Sinclair informing him his brother has died. Upon visiting her, he learns this is not true, as Rowena is in fact his brother. Gallegher must confront the truth of his buried past, deal with the reactions of his wife and two teenaged boys and come to terms with the responsibility of what he must now face with this very real and important human rights issue. He must somehow find acceptance in his heart, or lose everything he holds dear to his heart. Admission is $30.  For more information click here.
