"Free Food"
|
Dr. McIvor's sermon on March 10th is "Free Food" based on Isaiah 55.1-9. The text begins, "Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you that have no money, come, buy and eat!" What do we do to satisfy our thirst and hunger? Well, we work hard and rush about, we buy stuff and strive to satisfy ourselves. The text ends, "God's ways are higher than our ways and God's thoughts higher than our thoughts." In other words, our real thirst and huger can only be satisfied with what comes from God. And it's free!
