Urbanization and Cultural Conservation- 
Senior ECPA Fellow Jeff Soule was in Trinidad and Tobago to present his paper, "Urbanization and Cultural Conservation" at the Caribbean Urban Forum.

The Kansas Paraguay Partners held their annual meeting earlier this month, with the theme, "Development of Democracy in Paraguay." Read this post to learn more!

Girl's Empowerment Seminar Brazil-US 

Partners of the Americas selected 23 young American girls to attend this event and discuss topics such as women in politics, women's rights, and violence against women with other young women leaders from around the world.

Partners Celebrates International Women's Day!  

In honor of International Women's Day, we highlight a few of our projects focused on women's rights throughout the hemisphere.

Wisconsin-Nicaragua Partners Dispense Eyeglasses 

in Nicaragua

This January, volunteers from the Wisconsin/Nicaragua partnership gave eye exams and eyeglasses to over 1,500 people in Nicaragua.  

  

March 6, 2013:  

Cecilia Mart�nez Gomez of Paraguay was able to attend college in the United States with support from the Kansas-Paraguay Partnership. Click here to read her inspiring story and learn about the 100K Strong initiative to help other students like Cecilia study abroad. 

  

Representatives from the Pennsylvania chapter visited the Partners DC office to talk about our current projects and discuss new opportunities, while teaching us about their chapter history as well!

The Millersville University PartnersCampus hosted distinguished orchestral and choral conductor Professor Angelo Rafael Fonseca, who traveled with a grant from Partners' Education and Culture Program.
