SOLICITATION FOR INCUMBENT WORKER TRAINING GRANTS
SC Works Upstate is now accepting applications for Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) Grants. An IWT Grant, totaling $83,050, was issued for employers to upgrade the skills of their current employees. IWT grants provide opportunities for training in programs ranging from computer skills to manufacturing skills specific to industries. Up to $8,000 of funding is available for each approved business. A committee will review all applications to determine awards. Please refer to either www.scworksupstate.com or www.upstatewib.org to access the necessary application and guidelines.
All applications should be dropped off at any SC Works Upstate center to the attention of Ms. Dana McKnight. Center locations are:
