AUGUST NEWSLETTER, PART ONE
illustrated-sun-boats.jpg
We can't believe how quickly the summer has flown by! Can you believe it's almost August already? Wow! Even though our official Summer Reading Program (where kids record hours, win prizes, etc.) ends on Saturday, August 2nd, we will still be hosting lots of fun programs during the month of August.

If you are a Denville resident who registered online for our Summer Reading Program, you should have received an Evite to our End of Summer Ice Cream Party & Magic Show. If you did not receive your invitation, please email [email protected].

Thanks to everyone for supporting the library this summer. We have loved seeing you!

Best,

THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING TEEN VOLUNTEERS!

We were so lucky to have such wonderful volunteers this summer. Our volunteers helped out at many of our children's events, including storytimes, parties, and craft sessions. They also shelved LOTS of books and cut out / decorated / painted crafts for our kids to complete. Huge thanks to Juliana, Joelle, Hazel, Alexis, Katie (times two!), Elizabeth, Kelly, Grace, Kokila, Kimaya, and Tim for all your help this summer. We could not do our summer programs without you!
THIS SATURDAY!

We have Sensory & Movement Storytime and Read to a Dog this Saturday. Please click on the flyers for more details. It's supposed to be rainy and dreary outside on Saturday, so stop on by!

MORE FUN PROGRAMS!

PS ~ On our Do Something Day in July, our young people made amazing cards for hospitalized children as well as toys for shelter dogs. Check out this great photo of one of the shelter dogs at Liberty Humane Society playing with his new rope!
