Raj Patel, academic, activist, and author of Stuffed and Starved - Markets, Power and the Hidden Battle for the World Food System, will speak at Skagit Valley College's Mount Vernon Campus on Monday, January 28. Learn more about the World Food System and what is being done in many parts of the world to address the inefficiencies and injustices inherent in that system, with a focus on more sustainable ways of feeding ourselves and the rest of the world.
