The summer reading program for children across Massachusetts this year has science as its focus -- the state theme is "Fizz, Boom, Read!" -- and the Edgartown Library has a lively lineup of programs in store for our young readers. Wednesday, July 2: 7 pm - Sunset stories & snacks on the front lawn.
Saturday, July 5: Summer Kickoff 11 am-Bill Ross performs at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury in a special program of all the Island libraries. Admission is $4.
Monday, July 7:
Drop in Art, 11 am to noon. Bring your own projects, and get advice.
Science Tuesday, July 8: 3 pm - Float Your Boat, program on flotation.
Wednesday, July 9: 7 pm - Sunset stories & snacks on the front lawn.
Thursday, July 10: Story hour, 10:30 am.
Friday, July 11: Charanga Songs Noon on the lawn - Jose Pareja plays traditional songs of Bolivia on the charanga.
Saturday, July 12: Toddler Time, 10:30 am.
Monday, July 14: Drop in Art, 11 am to noon.

Science Tuesday, July 15: 3 pm - A special program presented by Mad Science of Southeastern Mass. (Space is limited to 30 children.)
