Introduction to Computers

This hands-on class is for the beginner who has little or no experience using a computer. It will introduce you to the basics of
computer terminology and the popular word processing program
Microsoft WORD. There are no prerequisites for this class.
Seats are limited to 5. Register at the information desk or call
the library.

Introduction to Grant Seeking for Individuals

Did you know that the library has access to information on 100,000 grantmakers and 2.3 million grants? Grant funds for individual endeavors such as education, research and business pursuits are not that easy to find. Attend this class to learn about the Foundation Grants to Individuals database, GrantSpace.org and other helpful resources. A working knowledge of the Internet and Windows are needed for this hands-on session. Space is limited to 10 people and preregistration is required.

Bring your device or your laptop with you.
Please make sure its charged and that you have any
password needed to download apps to it.
No experience necessary all you need is a library card.

Supper Book Club - My Beloved World

Book : My Beloved World by Sonia Sotomayor
A moving and inspirational autobiography by our first Latino Supreme Court judge.

BOOKS: Copies of the book are available to borrow at the Circulation Desk one month before the meeting
Every month food is ordered from a local restaurant, to be delivered to the library at 5:30 PM, the day of the meeting. If possible, the food will relate thematically to the book. Or not! The menu is available at the Circulation Desk. Participants select and pay for their menu items before the meeting. Please leave your money at the Circulation Desk by 1:30, the day of the book club meeting for that month.
**Please feel free to bring your own supper. Coffee, tea, water and juice are provided by the library.

Community Knit
Every Thursday, 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Learn the healing and calming effects of knitting and crocheting.
Socialize with others with the same interest.
Help others by either teaching someone to knit or making something needed by a child, a senior citizen, or a homeless person. Bring your knitting materials! Some materials may be provided.
