The library will be hosting several programs to commemorate Money Smart Week including:

Extreme Couponing Class: Saturday April 5 at 1:00 pm.
Prevent Identity Theft: Tuesday, April 8 at 11:00 am.
Lunch and Learn: Basic Banking:  Friday, April 11 at 12:00 pm.
Shred-It Day: Saturday, April 12 at 11:00 am.

There will also be money themed versions of our weekly Children's programs.

Moms- Need a little break? Join the TIME OUT Book Club. Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:30am. Bring the children to play while we discuss this month's book, "Angela's Ashes". Books will be available for checkout at the circulation desk with your valid library card. Coffee and snacks will be served.

Movie Screening- Little Women

In honor of Women's History Month, we will be showing the 1933 version of the film, Little Women.

Community Knit 
Every Thursday, 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Learn the healing and calming effects of knitting and crocheting.
Socialize with others with the same interest.
Help others by either teaching someone to knit or
making something needed by a child, a senior citizen,
or a homeless person.

Bring your knitting materials!  Some materials may be
provided.

The Art Behind The Story    
Every Monday
10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Join Ms. Christa each Monday morning at 10:30 am for a story and a related craft in the children's Activity Room. This program is free for all ages and no registration required. Daycare and preschool groups are welcome, but please call in advance for groups larger than 6, so we can be sure to  

have enough craft supplies.  

   

  

 

  


Stop, Drop and Read   
Every Tuesday in April
10:30 am - 11:00 am

Stop whatever you're doing, Drop into the library, and Read some stories with play time friends! We will read seasonal books, do a coloring page and have relaxed, informal play time with little friends of all ages.


 

 


International Children's Book Day    
Wednesday, April 2
9:30 am - 7:00 pm

The International Board on Books for Youth designated April 2nd as International Children's Book Day. It marks the birthday of Danish storyteller Hans Christian Andersen (1805)

Celebrate by checking out some books for your child. If they are too young to read, spend some time today reading to them. It is a great and memorable bonding time for you and your child!

  

 


Drumming Workshop with Professor Baldwin  
Wednesday, April 2
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Learn the basics rhythms of percussion with the fabulous Dwight Baldwin! Kids of all ages are invited to drop in on the drum circle in the Community Room. This program will run for 6 weeks, and you are not required to attend every week. No registration is required.
