Singers ages 6- 18: Join the Cast! 
 
Parents: Let PIMF introduce your son or daughter to the wonderful world of opera with Karen Saillant and the International Opera Theater. The moving (yet fun to perform) opera:"Brundibar and the Children of Theressienstadt" includes roles for both the seasoned performer and the aspiring vocal artist with little or no experience! There are also several speaking roles for teenage drama students and very young children that require ensemble singing only. Come
let us teach your son or daughter not only to sing - but to discover the incredible world of opera performance.

 

Open To: There are currently openings for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students (even first-time opera participants)!

Music By: Hans Krasa, Maurice Ravel, Richard Strauss, Pietro Mascagni and Anton�n Dvor�k with original script by Karen Saillant

Audition Information: All students will be accepted in the ensemble for : "Brundibar and the Children of Theressienstadt." Character roles will be select singers, according to audition results.

Note to Instrumentalists: Students in the  Opera Camp MAY participate in the PIMF daily Chamber Music Program and purchase up to two private lessons (on all instruments, including piano). Detailed information will be included in Confirmation Packet, mailed via e-mail upon registration.
