WHERE TO BUY TICKETS: Tickets for Yakutia Airlines' Summer 2014 service from Alaska to Kamchatka and Khabarovsk can be purchased through AirRussia.US, our network of travel agents and other professional travel agents.

AIR CARGO: Yakutia Airlines will resume air cargo service utilizing Boeing 737-700 aircraft on its seasonal Anchorage-Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky route, both East- and Westbound. Contact AirRussia.US to reserve space for your cargo.

LAYOVER TOURS IN KAMCHATKA:  
Passengers should note that from July 13 to August 17, the flight from   Petropavlovsk to Khabarovsk departs on Sunday at 10:00 PM, meaning a 14-hour layover on Kamchatka for travelers from the US. During your layover, you will have plenty of time to see the highlights and attractions in Kamchatka.

KAMCHATKA LAYOVER:
WHAT TO DO WITH 14 HOURS IN KAMCHATKA

When you're headed to Khabarovsk between July 13 and August 17, 2014, you will have a 14-hour layover in Kamchatka. But you don't have to spend it waiting at the airport. Hop off the plane; take a sightseeing tour of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky; visit world's famous Valley of Geysers, take a rafting trip, soak in one of Kamchatka's countless hotsprings,  or have a nice meal, and then head back to the airport.

Things to Keep in Mind
  • When deciding what to see during your layover in Kamchatka, allow yourself a reasonable amount of time to exit the airport and get through passport control and customs, which may take more than an hour. You'll also want to factor in enough time to return to the airport and go through security.

We are pleased to announce that Russian carrier Aurora Airlines commenced twice-weekly service between Tokyo's Narita Airport (NRT) and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (UUS) on Sakhalin Island May 1. The service operates on Tuesdays and Thursdays; flights are synchronized with many flights to and from the US to allow for convenient, same-day connections. Flight time is about 2 hours 45 minutes. Travel agents are reminded to always include accurate and complete passenger passport information in customer reservations. The DOCS entry must include the passenger's full name as written in passport (last, first and, if applicable, middle name); passport country of issue, number and expiration date; passenger's country of residency, date of birth and gender.


If the passenger is not a US citizen or legal resident, US address details must also be included in the reservation with the DOCA entry.
