Maikol Cruz

Maikol Cruz is a Professional Tourist Guide who specializes as a general guide, nature guide, and as an adventure activities and extreme sports guide. He graduated from the INBio-ACOPROT, and got certified as a general tourism, zip lines and bungee jumping guide in the National Training Institute (INA) and the Costa Rican Tourism Board (ICT). Maikol is currently studying the career of Natural Resource Management and Protection in the State University at Distance (UNED) and works as a guide for different organizations and tourism companies. Maikol is in continuous learning and lives by sustainable principles.

SUSTAINABILITY

Delivery: 2014 School Supplies Campaign

Ocotea Tours & Transfers is proud to communicate that on February 22nd and 23rd, we hand delivered the donations made by many of our contributors in Monteverde for the 2014 Indigenous School Campaign. This initiative was coordinated with the Foundation for Cultural, Social and Environmental Development of Indigenous Ethnic Groups in Costa Rica (FUNDEICO).

Thanks to your solidarity, we could contribute to the indigenous communities of Chiroles, Cachabri and Suretka, located in Alta Talamanca, with packages of notebooks, textbooks, school supplies like crayons, pens, new and used uniforms, among other donations.

International Women's Day 2014

Ocotea Tours & Transfers celebrates this March 8th the International Women's Day and recognizes the benefits that equality brings to women throughout society.
