The Maya did NOT predict the end of the world.

The world will NOT end on December 21^st 2012.

The Mayan calendar does NOT end.

The Maya did NOT disappear with the Spanish invasion.

Many Mayan elders do NOT believe that December 21^st 2012 is the end of their Long Count Calendar.

OK, now that we have that out of the way, we can consider WHY the Maya are so important to us today.

All the buzz and importance of December 21^st 2012 can be attributed ultimately to one single source: the great wisdom and perseverance of the Maya, who are in fact very much alive and with us today.

For over 500 hundred years Mayan elders have held the flame of humanity's greater purpose through their prophecies, teachings, ceremonies, dance, language and day-to-day living within their Sacred Calendar, the Tzolkin.

This ancient wisdom, shared with the world now at this most auspicious time, is the inspiration for Common Passion's Shift of the Ages Global Concordance Program, which begins this Thursday November 15^th and continues for the next 90 days.

MAYA TIME

It's quite ironic that, in spite of the Maya's great teachings about time, being in the moment, and day-to-day living in the universe, the rest of the world seems to be so preoccupied with one single day: December 21^st, 2012.

If you live with the Maya, spend time with the elders, understand and experience their unique reckoning of time through their Sacred Calendar, you immediately see the folly of placing so much emphasis on a single day.

To the Maya time is a living, breathing kaleidoscope. Each and every day has a unique meaning and energy, like a signature.

Each of the many "cycles within cycles" has meaning, with rich pallets of:

color
present moment awareness
texture
emotions
ceremony
interdependency with each other and the Earth
known and unknown cosmic influences

Together these inform the mysterious patterns embedded within the Mayan time-keeping system of at least 20 different calendars.

Notice how few Maya are speaking about December 21^st 2012. Unfortunately many people are jumping on the "2012 bandwagon" without even knowing what the significance is to the Maya.

This is about to change through the many brave, enlightened souls who have helped spread the authentic message of the Maya, and Common Passion's Shift of the Ages Global Concordance Program.

Over the next 90 days, you are invited to join our global community in a series of globally synchronized events based on key dates of the Mayan Sacred Calendar - the Tzolkin - where we will collectively honor the Maya and their prophecies that they have held for centuries and are now revealing to the world.

Wednesday November 28, 7 N'oj, Earth/Knowledge. A meditation to feel the knowledge and spirit found in the earth, stones, gases, waters, plant and animal kingdom.

Wednesday December 5, 1 K'at 3, Sacred Life/Abundance. We can use this energy to create our network of conscious people who know no borders. We can visualize the NET as the web of light and love that we create around the globe with our hearts, minds and sacred candles/fires. No one will be left behind as we gather around our virtual fires ceremoniously to further embody our one human family.

Wednesday December 12, 8 B'atz, Weaver of Time. This day marks the New Year of the Sacred Calendar. 8 is the most stable number of the 13 numbers, and a perfect day for ceremony. The MONKEY is known as the weaver of time and is in charge of the future. The MONKEY energy is auspicious for beginning new projects, especially creative ones.

Thursday December 13, 9 E, The Day of the Path. The Path of Light. Wandering Wolf will share a fire ceremony on this day in Southern California (details to come); others will simultaneously hold (fire) ceremonies around the globe.

Sunday December 16, 12 Tz'iquin, A good day to spread communications around the Earth. Wandering Wolf will hold a fire ceremony on this day as well, shared simultaneously around the world. This is the most likely day that the Shift of the Ages film will be released to the public.

Friday December 22, 5 Imox, Energy of Empowerment.The energy for living in two worlds simultaneously. Those who are experiencing their shift can truly give testimony to this. Not really a prophecy, but a reality: It takes courage, perseverance and compassion to be willing to shift and still live amongst those who have not.

Thursday December 27, 10 Kame, Energy of manifestation. Connect with the ancestors and listen to ancient voices.
