Bringing the Best in Blues to Baltimore for Over 25 Years!
Sunday May 25 NO PLACE LIKE HOME - HOUSE RENT PARTY

UPDATE

Rosedale American Legion  Noon - 8 pm

Nighthawks, Mikey Junior, Bad Influence, Big Boy Little,  Ursula Ricks, Roger Girke/Jimmy Pritchard/Pete Kanaras Big Band with "The Forkman Horns" Automatic Slim, and Nothing But Trouble

Longtime BBS (and Blues Nation!) members Ed Clopien and Tobi Tyberg were in a car accident about a month ago. Both sustained substantial injuries. Ed was just transferred from the hospital to a rehab facility for continued treatment of a Traumatic Brain Injury. Tobi had been discharged after more than a week in the hospital with multiple broken bones and other injuries.

You may know Ed as "The Forkman" (www.forkman.com) and have certainly seen his distinctive jewelry made from silver forks on many blues fans and performers. Tobi is also an artist, though lately working in a "regular" job that she loved. They travel extensively during the festival season to sell their wares. Normally at this time of year, Ed would be working on new creations, planning for the festival trips and also their traditional "House Rent Party" in May. Obviously none of this is happening now. We need to help.

Please join us for this all day event featuring many of our finest area acts! Details are still being worked on, but we will have exciting raffles and other fundraising plans. This will be much like a usual Rosedale extravaganza (BYOB) except that we are planning to set up a buffet table for "Pot Luck" and may have some food available for sale. We will have open seating. A few performance times have been set:

 12pm -  MIKEY JUNIOR

 1PM -  THE NIGHTHAWKS

2pm -  The Forkman Big Band

3pm -  Bad Influence

4pm - Automatic Slim and his Sensational Band

5pm - Big Boy Little Band

6pm - Ursula Ricks Project

7pm - Nothing But Trouble
Times are approximate and subject to adjustment!

We will be asking for a donation at the door. There will be a "pot luck" table and additional food sold.

We realize this is the Memorial Day weekend and some folks have already made plans.  We hope to set up a donation link soon for those of you who would like to help but cannot attend.
