Help Pioneer Clubs Make a Difference
|
Donate items for "Legacy Closet" now thru April 2nd:
New underwear from 2T - 7 years old, used clothing/shoes from sizes Infant to Size 16, used baby items such as high chairs, strollers, bouncy seats or car seats, used toddler educational toys, backpacks and duffel bags. Donation boxes for these items are in Trinity Hall near the soft drink machine.
Bake Sale! Sunday, March 30
The Pioneer Clubs students assisted by other church children are hosting a bake sale in Trinity Hall after Sunday School.
Calling All Children:
Even if you haven't participated in Pioneer Clubs you are welcome to come Wednesday March 26 to help prepare the items for the bake sale! [hopefully you got this card in the mail] Any questions please contact me. Thanks, Katie

Sunday, March 30 following worship we will have a Congregational Meeting to elect the members of the Pastor Search Committee. Please remember that children need to stay in the sanctuary with parents during the meeting to allow Sunday School teachers the opportunity to join in this important next step for our church.

Newgate Mission Help Needed
|
The Mission Committee is looking for a "point person" to represent our church in organizing volunteers for Newgate Mission meal prep and serving on some "open" dates this year.
We also need the Volunteers to actually
cook and serve on some of the following
SATURDAY BREAKFAST - OPEN DATES: May 17, 31 June 7, 14, 21 August 2, 16, 30 September 6, 20 November 1, 8, 22
December - every Saturday
SUNDAY BREAKFAST - July 27.
Also needed: Lunch Servers - 2nd Friday of every month, and
Men's jeans and work clothing. Please Call the church office 903-234-0032 if you are interested or have any questions.

Longview Community Ministries: Any food or monetary donations in March and April are considered for the Feinstein Challenge Grant. One can of food is considered $1 for grant purposes. Pledges made during this time also count. Click here for list of all items:
Food Box Needs for April: 1lb Rice, 1lb Beans, 2lb Rice and Canned Fruit. Barrels are located in Trinity Hall and in the church office. House of Hope needs toiletries and flip flops for their residents.
