Rector Search Committee Update
As part of the discernment process, the Rector Search Committee recently revisited the results of the 2012 "Big Listen" and followed up with a parishioner who helped lead this initiative. Although advised that the information is now somewhat outdated and that the "Big Listen" served a different purpose, we plan to include summary ( which can be found on our website) in the written documents the committee will be developing as part of the search process. Our search process will also include a congregational self study, where the entire congregation will have a chance to give input about the future of Christ Church and our prospective new Rector.

Special Men's Breakfast on April 26
We will have a special presentation as part of our Journey Through The Wilderness series. Dan Summey will present a monologue as Jonah - certainly among God's most reluctant prophets who's journey is renowned for including the belly of a whale. Although his story seems almost mystical, in the end we probably all have an inner Jonah declaring "why me, Lord?"
While many people know Dan as an attorney and faithful choir member, you may not know he holds a BFA in Dramatic Arts from UNC. Locally he's appeared on stage with Richmond Shakespeare in As You Like It and with Barksdale Theater in Arthur Miller's The Crucible. Join us for this special time together!
