Support local farmers and reduce the impacts of long distance shipping by taking the pledge to serve or eat at least one local food each day during the week of July 21 - 29. Local foods are defined as those raised, processed and packaged within a 250-mile radius. Visit the Buy Local Challenge to download logos, fliers and posters for your facility and be sure to check out nearby farmers' markets and farms.
Join the Maryland Green Registry LinkedIn Group
Maryland Green Registry members offer a wealth of information and experience in proven environmental practices. Our LinkedIn group, open to employees of Maryland Green Registry member organizations, allows you to tap into that resource to: ask and respond to questions regarding environmental best practices and products; promote upcoming environmental events and learning opportunities; share recent environmental successes and challenges at your organization; and advertise environmental jobs and bid opportunities.
