Nominations Due March 21

The World Affairs Councils of America is beginning the nomination process for members of the National Board of Directors, whose terms will begin on July 1, 2014 and continue for a three-year initial term. The Nominating Committee of the National Board of Directors is seeking individuals who fully support the World Affairs Councils of America's mission of educating, engaging, and inspiring the American public on global issues and are willing to work to fulfill it.

On behalf of Rich Crepage, Chair of the Nominating Committee of the National Board, we are seeking your help in identifying the best candidates for directors for the National Board.

We are interested in council staff executives, members of the governing body of a council, and those from the corporate sector who are willing to become Supporting Members of the network.

Make a Recommendation

If you would like to recommend an individual whom you believe has a clear commitment to our mission, a demonstrated understanding of the national network, and proven leadership experience, download the documents below and submit the nomination form along with all required materials via email to Ian J. Byrne at [email protected].

Nominations for directors are due March 21, 2014. The nominating committee will review the submissions and recommend individuals for selection to the full National Board. Full World Affairs Council membership will vote on the slate by May 30, 2014.
