The heavy duty option adds an extra layer of Vinyl coated polyester fabric on the inside, the tread is reinforced with a patch on the seam for more durability.  You typically get double the life out of the heavy duty option and we recommend this option for your bigger machines especially on projects lasting more than 2 weeks. It is highly recommended for any Tiresock going on tires over 40" tall. To order, simply add "HD" to the end of your existing part number.

What began as a reverential annual remembrance of the death of Ireland's favorite saint has become a world-wide celebration of Irishness. It's hard to say why this has caught on is such a big way. Perhaps it's all that green that comes out on this day, just a few weeks before spring brings its own green. I think it has more to do with trying to catch a little of that famous Irish craic and, of course, the stout.
