Renewal & Rebirth
Greetings from the AU campus!
It's good to see the grass again in the Valley, although there are still plenty of snow piles left all over campus. Soon those will gone, too, and we'll be on to a season of renewal and rebirth. I think I can speak for many that we'll definitely welcome spring with an unparalleled enthusiasm this year. Last week when we experienced a couple warmer days (if you call 45 degrees warmer), I saw some students playing Frisbee golf in the Valley. Everyone is ready for warmer, sunnier days!
This week we welcome a special guest to campus, Lisa Sharon Harper, for the annual PACT Chapel and special programming. PACT stands for Peace and Conflict Transformation and Ms. Harper will speak in Chapel on Thursday (2/27) about "Peace and Poverty." Other programming throughout the day includes a lunch discussion in Kane Dining Room from 12:00-1:30, "Faith in Action Training" from 2:00-4:00 in Decker #133, and an evening Chapel session at 5:30 about "The Budget and Your Neighbor." For more information about our guest, click here.
Spring Break is only a couple weeks away. I hope your student has a chance to experience renewal of the spirit and a rebirth of excitement and enthusiasm . . . in their faith and in their studies. I hope we all have a chance for that same excitement and enthusiasm in our lives.
Blessings to all parents who love their children.

Falls School of Business
The mission of the Falls School of Business is to create an environment that will enable and encourage our graduates to be professionally competent, ethically sensitive, and informed by the Christian ideal or servanthood. There are many different majors offered through the Falls School of Business, which benefit students with various goals.
Karr Hill, a senior studying Marketing, chose to come to Anderson University because she was not only looking for Christian univeristy but a campus community that felt like family. Karr stated, "The best aspect of AU is the personal investment you are able to put into the Falls School of Business." Marketing has given her the hands on experience to prepare her for the future. She plans to pursue a career in event planning.
Accounting majors, Lauren Fiscus and Josh Compton have similar college career paths. Lauren was very competitive in sports growing up and wanted to study Accounting. AU was able to give her the competition she craved through playing basketball, while allowing her to complete her Accounting degree. Josh was undecided on a major when he arrived at AU, but was excited to play football for the Ravens. He soon found he had an affinity for accounting and enjoyed pursuing his education while participating in the football program, too. They both appreciate the mentoring they received from their professors. Lauren states, "The professors are personal with you, they enjoy helping you not just in life but in helping with finding a career after graduation." After May both Lauren and Josh will be going to work for Ernst & Young accounting firm in Indianapolis.
